Summary
The Global X MSCI SuperDividend Emerging Markets ETF (SDEM) tracks the MSCI Emerging Markets Top 50 Dividend Index. It invests in the 50 highest yielding stocks in emerging economies.
Investment Thesis
SDEM provides the dividend income of an established company with the growth potential of an emerging market. It does all that at low valuation ratios (P/E of 10.02 and P/B of 1.24). It also pays its dividends monthly, which is unusual for an equity ETF.
SDEM is a transaction free ETF for E*Trade customers, which means that they do not pay E*Trade’s standard $6.95 transaction fee each time they buy or sell shares.
